Convention Tooling

Conventional presswork

Bracebridge Engineering Ltd was established in 1978 and since then we have specialised in the manufacture of pressed components, leading the way with our experience, expertise and delivery of quality bespoke components.

If you have a pressing issue, we will solve it. At Bracebridge Engineering Ltd, we manufacture pressed components that are tailored to your needs.

We manufacture pressed components that cover all spectrums of the field to ensure that we meet customer demands; no matter how obscure or complicated the job.

We work with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals so we have manufactured pressed components that cover all areas of the industry; from aeroplane parts to structural components, from intricate machine parts to automotive components. We have covered it all.

Unlike high volume runs, smaller production runs can be produced more cost effectively by using conventional tooling or single operation tooling as its also known. This process involves multiple tools, where each stage of the pressing is done separately to achieve the final form. In single operation/conventional tooling, there are cost advantages with the tooling however they do take longer to produce than progression tooling. This process applies to deep drawing also.

We know that today’s challenging business environment demands flexibility from its suppliers. This is why we operate various types of presses; deep drawing presses, progression and single operation presses.

Whatever you require to produce your pressed components, you can be rest assured we have the equipment to manufacture it.
